Water Damaged Carpet in Morristown

When it comes to water damaged carpets, there are a few different routes that can be taken to dry it out - and that depends on the type of carpet and the amount of water. 

In this case, the carpet was on top of concrete without a pad underneath - which means that much less work needs to be done. When our crews arrived on site, they used a commercial-grade extractor to get out as much water as they could from the carpet.

Afterwards, fans and dehumidifiers were set up to continue the drying process. Equipment is left to run for three days before crews return to take a moisture reading and remove the equipment. Equipment will not be removed if the carpet or walls are still read as wet - as this would be a breeding ground for mold!
